What inspired your company to produce age-friendly products or services?

After creating the heart-lung machine used in the first human heart transplant, President and CEO Dick Sarns wanted to enter the business of prevention. Exercise physiologists researched and developed the NuStep, a seated cross-trainer.

What inspired your founder(s) to form your company?

Dick Sarns developed the heart-lung machine used in the first human heart transplant in 1967. Afterwards, observing the rate of open heart surgery in America, Sarns began believing that lifestyle contributed to cardiac disease.
