Adequate training lowers injuries for home health aides
The job opportunities for home health aides are expected to be “excellent,” according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, because of the rapid increase in the home health care field as well as high rates of turnover. Up to 90% of home health aides leave their jobs within the first two years, according to a report on the health care workforce (National Academies).
