Loneliness may lead to functional decline

ICAA Research Review has reported on studies that linked loneliness to hypertension (12[18] May 2012) and to disturbed sleep (11[41] November 2011). A new study adds information about the potential impact of loneliness on functional abilities that enable people to stay independent.
