Arts and crafts add value to lives of older women
Does participation in arts and crafts activities—popular avocations of older women—relate to their feelings of health and well-being? To find out, an analysis was undertaken of comments input into the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health by 114 women; in-depth interviews were completed with 23 women in their eighties.
