Stats: About 11% of older adults eat enough fruit and vegetables

Overall, just one in 10 US adults ate the recommended 1.5 to 2 cups per day of fruit and 2 to 3 cups per day of vegetables in 2015, the latest data available, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)'s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR), published on November 16.
