Submission process
The goal of the Directory is to share as many programs as possible, within the dimensions of wellness. When professionals look for a program, they also want confidence that the program is successful and in a format that can be shared with others.
Once the online listing is submitted, it is sent to one or more peer reviewers. The reviewers read the listing and double-check that the listing is understandable and that the program meets the criteria.
If the program listing is easily understood and meets the criteria, the listing goes into the Directory and is available to the public. If the listing isn’t clear or does not appear to meet the criteria, then an ICAA staff person will contact the person submitting the program and request clarification.
Here are the steps in the submission process.
Person submitting program has prepared additional written document or website giving details on the program. |

Person submitting program completes the program description using the Successful Programs website. |

ICAA administrator alerts reviewers that program is available. |

Two reviewers read the description to check that it matches criteria and is complete. |

Administrator contacts person submitting program, provides reasons why program cannot be posted at this time, and solicits revisions. |

When the missing elements are provided, the program can be re-submitted and reviewed. |

After one year, reminder e-mail is sent asking that the program information as posted be updated for accuracy. |
