Stats: 15 minutes of fast walking daily curbs death risk by 20%

Walking fast for just 15 minutes per day reduced the risk of death in a large group of mostly low-income participants, according to a study led by Vanderbilt University, Nashville, researchers. Active-aging communities may want to raise the bar on walking for their residents.
