One-time falls prevention program leads to long-term physical activity

For people who live in the community, a fall has the potential to abruptly change the quality of their lives. The Stand Up! falls prevention program was developed to help community-dwelling older adults improve their balance and strength as well as learn about ways to reduce their risk of falling. Would participation in the program also have a long-term effect on individual’s levels of physical activity?
