Multidimensional activities needed for cognitive health
The interest in finding ways that people can maintain their cognitive health—skills in decision making, memory and learning—rises along with the ever-increasing number of aging adults. In the US, cognitive health was identified as a major public health issue when the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Alzheimer’s Association released “The Healthy Brain Initiative: A National Public Health Road Map to Maintaining Cognitive Health.” New studies continue to explore the elements that support cognitive health.
