Tai Chi for knee pain and yoga for back pain

As people age, their likelihood of experiencing pain in their knees or lower back increases. About 55% of the nine million people with osteoarthritis in the knee in 2005 were 65 years or older (American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons). Chronic low-back pain, which is experienced over the longterm, becomes more common with age (NIAMS). Exercise in the form of Tai Chi and yoga may be an alternative to standard treatments.
