Obesity, osteoarthritis and knee surgery

One of the treatments for pain and loss of function in the knee due to osteoarthritis is knee replacement surgery. At the recent annual meeting of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, several presenters discussed the relationships between knee osteoarthritis, obesity and surgery.
