Short bouts of intense strength training boosts bone mass in older women

Just 30 minutes twice a week of high-intensity resistance and impact training (HiRIT) improves functional performance and bone density, structure, and strength in postmenopausal women with low bone mass - and with no adverse side effects, according to a study published in the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research.
