Psychological resilience tied to better walking ability after hip surgery

Community-dwelling older adults experiencing hip fracture often fail to achieve adequate walking capacity following surgery and rehabilitation. A study that included 210 community-dwelling adults ages 60+ who had surgery after hip fracture looked at the impact of psychological factors on post-fracture walking capacity.
