Zipporah "Zippy" Lubin-Sandler, a Florida-based lifestyle and travel influencer, belongs to an emerging phenomenon of influencers dubbed "granfluencers." Granfluencers are defying ageist stereotypes, fostering cross-generational dialogues and offering a fresh perspective on active aging. This trend not only encourages people to reevaluate existing frameworks around aging; it stimulates creativity, educates, inspires and, for some, generates income. It's also a trend that senior living communities (and other active-aging settings) can use to educate, engage and promote.
