What does the course cost?

Non-Members: $649

ICAA Members: Included as a member benefit (one enrollment per membership year)

Please note: Continuing Education Unit (CEU) fees are separate and vary by certifying organization, typically ranging from $75–$175.

Do I need to be an ICAA member to register?

No. The course is open to both members and non-members.

However, ICAA membership provides valuable benefits, including complimentary access to the Foundation for Wellness Certificate Course 2.0, industry resources, networking opportunities, research, and ongoing professional development. Contact ICAA to learn more about membership options.

How do I earn the Foundation for Wellness Certificate?

Participants earn the ICAA Foundation for Wellness Certificate by successfully completing the course and achieving an average score of 80% or higher on all module quizzes. The certificate demonstrates a foundational understanding of wellness, including the Seven Dimensions of Wellness and their practical application in supporting older adults and organizational success.

How much time should I expect to invest?

Most learners spend approximately 3–5 hours per module. Participants have up to 20 weeks to complete the course, providing flexibility to learn at a pace that fits their schedule.

ICAA understands that life and work responsibilities can change unexpectedly and strives to work with learners whenever possible to support successful course completion.

When will I receive access to the course?

Within 48 hours of registration, you will receive a welcome email with instructions and a personalized link to access the online learning platform and begin your learning journey.

I registered but didn't receive my invitation email. What should I do?

Please check your spam or junk mail folder for messages from @icaa.cc. If you still cannot locate the email, contact ICAA immediately for assistance.

Can I pay by check or register a group on a single invoice?

Yes. Please contact ICAA at info@icaa.cc or 866.335.9777 and we will be happy to assist you.

What if I fall behind or experience a major life event?

If circumstances arise that affect your ability to complete the course, contact ICAA as soon as possible. Our goal is to help you successfully complete the program whenever possible.

Learners who need additional time or support are encouraged to reach out to discuss available options.

What is the withdrawal and refund policy?

Participants who submit a written withdrawal request within the first seven days of starting the course may receive a 25% refund. Refunds are not available after the seventh day of the course. Participants may retake the course once for a $100 processing fee and may reschedule their enrollment one time.
