Tech Talk: AI in long-term care holds promise, pitfalls
Artificial intelligence (AI) could reshape long-term care (LTC) for older adults, but only if it's developed and deployed with care, according to a recent report from the AARP Public Policy Institute. The report has relevance for providers in all communities that serve older adults, as it states that LTC today can be provided in the home, in community settings such as adult day services, or a nursing home or assisted living community.
