Pain associated with fear of falling, and falls
In the United States, one out of three people 65 years and older fall in a given year, resulting in nonfatal and fatal injuries (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). Given that pain is common among older adults (AGS Health in Aging), a research team was interested in discovering if pain was related to falling.
