Hearing aids may delay cognitive decline

Cognitive decline is associated with hearing loss, which affects about 32% of people ages 55 and older, and more than 70% of people over age 70, according to University of Melbourne, Australia, researchers. Now, those researchers have found that wearing hearing aids may delay cognitive decline and improve brain function.
