Time to re-imagine LTC infrastructure
Proceedings from a virtual town hall hosted by Provincial Geriatrics Leadership Ontario, in collaboration with interRAI and the International Federation on Aging, addressed policy interventions to help prevent the disproportionate impact the pandemic had on older adults in long-term care settings. Changes to the built environment were a major focus, and something CCRCs, life plan, dementia care and leaders in other active-aging settings should be aware of.
