Staff bias affects care of nursing home residents with dementia
Several factors - including staff assumptions about minoritized groups - may play a role in the variability in the quality of care provided to US nursing home residents with advanced dementia, according to a recent study. Lessons learned are likely relevant to assisted living and dementia care in senior living and other settings, as well.
